Privacy Notice
How your personal information is collected, used and protected.
Who is responsible for your information
Victoria Chudleigh-Emson is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing dietetic and coaching services. Registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration number ZC243311.
What information is collected
When you complete the enquiry form, the following is collected: your name, email address, telephone number if you choose to provide it, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.
If you go on to become a client, clinical information including your medical history, symptoms, dietary intake and consultation notes will also be recorded as part of your health record.
Why it is collected, and the lawful basis
Enquiry details are used solely to respond to your enquiry, on the basis of your consent. Client health records are processed for the provision of healthcare, which under UK GDPR relies on Article 6(1)(b) and Article 9(2)(h).
Who your information is shared with
Your information is never sold or shared for marketing. With your explicit consent, clinical correspondence may be shared with your GP or another healthcare professional involved in your care.
How long it is kept
Clinical records are retained for eight years, in line with British Dietetic Association record-keeping guidance.
Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment are not deleted automatically. They are reviewed periodically and removed once they are no longer needed. You can ask for an enquiry to be deleted at any time by emailing info@vceconsulting.co.uk.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information held about you, to have inaccuracies corrected, to request erasure where it applies, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@vceconsulting.co.uk.
Cookies
When you first arrive you will be asked which cookies you are happy to accept. You can change your mind at any time using the link in the banner, and the full list below is kept up to date automatically by the consent tool.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, please raise it directly in the first instance. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
For a complaint about the service itself rather than about your information, please see the complaints procedure.
